Hey, you! You, over there! You like books? You’re gonna love this link-up! Once a month, Literary Junkies meet to chat about all things bookish.

We also have an online book club where we meet the third Tuesday of every month on Twitter to chat about the book. Participants can even win some great prizes!

Love books, too? Join in on the fun! All you have to do is write a blog post of your own answering the following questions and link back using the Linky tool below!

This month’s questions:

1) What are you currently reading? Tell us about it!
Allegiant, the final book in the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. I got to meet her at YALLFest earlier this month! I’ve heard the ending sucks (and I think I know what happens)… We’ll see.

12) How many books have you read this year? Do you set reading goals for yourself?
35 so far… I wanted to read 52 this year but I don’t think it’s gonna happen! 😦

3) What do you think are the best and worst book-to-movie/TV show adaptations?
The Perks of Being a Wallflower film was so amazing and true to the book! I hated the My Sister’s Keeper movie because they totally changed the ending!

aMy_sisters_keeper_poster4) What is the first line of your favorite book?
“I was born with water on the brain.”
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

35) What’s your favorite quote from a book?
“We accept the love we think we deserve.”
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

acceptAlso my all-time favorite quote is “Not all those who wander are lost.” I’ve never read Tolkien but I want it tattooed on me!
